Yeah, my last long trip to another country, I was careful about packing knitting projects that didn't take up much room in my luggage but would take not just days but weeks to finish. (Lace is especially good in that respect.) But books took up a significant amount of space in my luggage. I'm kind of looking forward to my next long trip, since I've got so much reading material riding around in my backpack now taking up so little physical space.

Hopefully she manages to get out of the country in a timely fashion!
