Spammers often hit one or two journals very hard; it's often not that spam is really any worse than usual for Dreamwidth, it's just that you're the unlucky, concentrated recipient of the latest wave.

It's good you marked them all as spam when you deleted, it lets us whack their IP addresses with a captcha which deters their future efforts.

Hopefully in a few days, you can turn anon comments back on without risking spam all over the place!
