From top left to bottom right: oregano, rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley, sage (I know, the order is wrong. Should have done it otherwise so I can remember which is which easier!), chocolate mint (yes!), peppermint, some thing which is not a herb but fits into the last spot.

Sorry to hear that - I love having herbs around. I have no idea if those will work out there - it's mostly south, too, but not too long directly in the sun. Fortunately, my balcony is pretty big, so I can move them around (if I can - that thing is heavy.
