jumping right in

So here's some stuff I've been up to lately:
After scrolling past endless bookmarks on pinboard for months, I accidentally watched the show. (Both seasons. I bought a TunnelBear for it. It was a rather peculiar accident.) I think it's very, very dumb, but it was a nice thing to watch while I had to study. My favorite thing was when (spoiler for 2:11)
Unfortunately I don't care much for Derek/Stiles; I've read a lot of it, and liked some of it well enough, found some other awesome fic, too, but I'm already pretty much done with the fandom.
Since I bought the TunnelBear already (which makes websites believe that I'm in the US or the UK) I've also started watching stuff on Hulu. I really liked Once Upon a Time, which I didn't expect, and somehow I started a Roswell rewatch. I have to say that Roswell season one (I haven't gotten further than that yet) is actually a better show than I expected. That opinion might have something to do with watching Teen Wolf directly before - I suspect most shows would seem pretty intelligent then.... Anyway, I rediscovered my love for Maria and after that one episode early on started shipping Isabella/Maria like mad. There's five fics on the AO3; I'm saving them as a treat.
Speaking of the AO3, I can't wait til they fix tag filtering. That is the one way I find fic I haven't read by authors I don't know!
I've also gotten a tumblr where I don't do anything: I follow some people and scroll through my dashboard once in a while, but that's it.
tl;dr: I'm still reading a lot of fan fic, haven't found "my" new fandom yet and don't talk much in fanspace.
I've started "school" full-time again in September; it's a nine-month course in civil government and is exactly as interesting as that sounds. *g* I actually like it: I'm good at learning, and the workload is (for me) not much more than part-time work, even now at exam time. I'm actually procrastinating right now. *g*
Class is in the afternoon one week, the other week in the morning. It's really inconvenient for most people, but I don't mind, and I don't only enjoy the late start every other week but also the switch every week; I suspect that I'd just sleep longer and longer if class was only in the afternoon.
Apart from that there's not much happening in my life. I'm planning on doing a post-every-day-this-month thing in November, but I'll probably split it between here and
sonja. It'll be the first time I try something like that - I'll see how it goes.
tl;dr: School! and I'll post more in November.
OK, back to studying (municipal finances. Exciting!) and watching some football.

Jackson actually DIES on the lacrosse field and everyone is like "whatever. You're such a valuable player, Scott! You were awesome, Stiles!", INCLUDING THE SHERIFF.
