*waves cautiously from a distance*
1. Are you an Essential Worker?
Yes, sort of? I work for the communal garbage service, so we're essential, but I'm IT for mostly non-essential programs. Still, we keep working like normal, though by now we make an actual effort at distancing. That's why I worked from home last week, and this week my colleague does.
2. How many drinks have you had since the quarantine started?
Not that many. Mostly I've been eating badly instead of drinking.
3. If you have kids... Are they driving you nuts?
I don't have kids. I miss my nephews, but they're on Telegram and we facetime.
4. What new hobby have you taken up during this?
None. I don't have the mental capacity at the moment, and actually not much more free time than usual.
5. How many grocery runs have you done?
A few. I try to go at off-times (usually shortly before closing) and only when it's really necessary.
6. What are you spending your stimulus check on?
I don't get one, but I also don't lose any income, so I'm really lucky.
7. Do you have any special occasions that you will miss during this quarantine?
There was a sports benefit planned in March that we wanted to attend, a nostalgia handball match. I'm really sad about that one, because they won't be able to put it on at a later date.
Easter was a little lonely, but we had a family breakfast on Zoom.
Currently we're a bit anxious about summer holidays - we've been planning a big get-together for friends and family for two years, and it'd be a shame if we had to cancel. It's in Austria in July, so we'll have to wait and see.
8. Are you keeping your housework done?
Not really, but it's not any worse than usually. I've been baking bread and cooking a bit more.
9. What movie have you watched during this quarantine?
Die Känguru-Chroniken, a comedy that came out just before cinemas were closed. You can stream it now, and part of the fee goes to cinemas, which is pretty neat.
10. What are you streaming with?
Huh? My computer. I don't have a TV, so there's not really another option.
11. 9 months from now is there any chance of you having a baby?
None, like in any other period in my life. Anyway, as I read somewhere these days: Almost all the babies born nine months from now will be first-borns.
12. What's your go-to quarantine meal?
Don't have one - I've been eating rather badly, to be honest.
13. Is this whole situation making you paranoid?
Not really. I can avoid people pretty well, aside from at work (it's getting better there).
14. Has your internet gone out on you during this time?
No.
15. What month do you predict this all ends?
Depends on the definition of "end" and on where you are in the world. It's gonna take a lot of time, though.
16. First thing you’re gonna do when you get off quarantine
Visiting my parents and the rest of my family.
17. Where do you wish you were right now?
I'm good here at home in my apartment.
18. What free-from-quarantine activity are you missing the most?
Travelling.
19. Have you run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer?
I never had hand sanitizer, and I finally installed the Bidet Sprayer so it doesn't matter if the toilet paper runs out. (which it has. *g*)
20. Do you have enough food to last a month?
Maybe? Probably not in a really healthy manner, but it would last me a while.
